Although this is a stand-alone/parent-led program, homeschoolers may incorporate all or part of the curriculum in their homes. RC History

Roman Latin Rantin

Two homeschooling mothers and former Army nurses developed this curriculum at their homeschool co-op to help students learn the derivatives of English words, improve their knowledge of English grammar and to eventually help them learn other languages. Schola Rosa

This curriculum is Catholic, Classical, and Charlotte-Mason in its inspirations. The Art of Philosophy

Dr. Luke Arredondo takes students through the study of philosophy and a knowledge of its history. He helps guide young students (mature middle school-high school) through the great tradition of the history of philosophy.

Utilizing the Socrates' Children series from Peter Kreeft, this course includes a syllabus, reading schedule, comprehension questions, and sample answers along with optional quizzes and a final exam.


The goal is to give parents a way to introduce their students into the tradition of philosophy, to help sharpen their reasoning skills, and to open their hearts to the wonder of philosophy, to see it as the "love of wisdom."

Virtues In Practice - Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia
This is a program for children in grades pre-Kindergarten through eigth, designed to grow closer to Jesus by imitating His life and virtues. It is set up in such a way that all grades study the same virtue each month, to provide a whole-family focus. The program covers 27 virtues over a three-year cycle, with 81 saint held up as models of the virtues.

American Literature website

Aaron Ezis (1967-2004) created the American Literature website in 1997 to share his love of literature with people around the world. He built it page-by-page, adding "A Chapter A Day" to the American Literature Library. Over time he expanded the site with extra features like "The Word of the Day" and then expanded beyond American authors to include great writers from around the world. Categories are by genre and grade level, with a plethora of resources for teachers and parents - comp guides, homeschooling aids, etc.

The Animation Course
Want to learn drawing and animation from an industry expert? Chad Stewart has worked as a professional animator in film and television for the last 27 years. He was a Disney animator on such films as Tarzan and The Emperor’s New Groove, and most recently, he’s worked as a 3D Visual Development Artist at Sony Pictures Animation and continues to do contract work with the studio. Chad and his wife of 25 years have been lifelong homeschoolers to their 4 daughters, and 4 adopted sons from Liberia, West Africa. He was inspired by his own homeschooling experience to share his knowledge of animation with other kids and thus, The Animation Course was borne.

Classical Learning Resource Center

The Classical Learning Resource Center empowers parents and other educators to provide a quality education for their children in a home-based environment by offering a wide variety of live interactive classes taught by well-qualified and passionate teachers. Coursework for grades 1-12, including an online academy.

Classic Learning Test

The CLT now offers exams for grades 7-8 and is scheduled to begin offering exams for grades 3-6 in Spring 2024. These exams are taken at home and are proctored by the parent. I highly recommend parents use these are ongoing assessments during the year for planning purposes, to make adjustments to course of study, and to fulfill some states' requirements for standardized testing by home educators.


Cottage Press

EMH Sports

Essentials in Writing

The Math-U-See Curriculum is a complete and comprehensive K–12 math curriculum. Each level concentrates on a specific set of skills, while continuously reviewing and integrating topics and concepts presented in previous levels. By using tools such as videos, manipulatives, and other resources, the Math-U-See Curriculum is designed to appeal to all types of learners in a variety of learning environments.

As Cathy Duffy writes of these excellent Math courses:  "These fantastic courses were designed specifically for homeschoolers in order to solve some of the issues that make math challenging for them.
