Our (Latin) curriculum is the only near-immersion, comprehensible input-based curriculum in Latin for elementary age students. Students acquire Latin joyfully and meaningfully through songs, nursery rhymes, picture talks about beautiful works of art, our unique “Little Socratic Talks”, oral mini stories (“Gouin series”), and beautifully illustrated picture books, many of them traditional folktales, as well as optional prayers, bible verses, and hymns. The Teacher Guides are fully scripted, so teachers with no Latin background can use it too.

American Literature website

Aaron Ezis (1967-2004) created the American Literature website in 1997 to share his love of literature with people around the world. He built it page-by-page, adding "A Chapter A Day" to the American Literature Library. Over time he expanded the site with extra features like "The Word of the Day" and then expanded beyond American authors to include great writers from around the world. Categories are by genre and grade level, with a plethora of resources for teachers and parents - comp guides, homeschooling aids, etc.

The Animation Course
Want to learn drawing and animation from an industry expert? Chad Stewart has worked as a professional animator in film and television for the last 27 years. He was a Disney animator on such films as Tarzan and The Emperor’s New Groove, and most recently, he’s worked as a 3D Visual Development Artist at Sony Pictures Animation and continues to do contract work with the studio. Chad and his wife of 25 years have been lifelong homeschoolers to their 4 daughters, and 4 adopted sons from Liberia, West Africa. He was inspired by his own homeschooling experience to share his knowledge of animation with other kids and thus, The Animation Course was borne.

Classical Learning Resource Center

The Classical Learning Resource Center empowers parents and other educators to provide a quality education for their children in a home-based environment by offering a wide variety of live interactive classes taught by well-qualified and passionate teachers. Coursework for grades 1-12, including an online academy.

Classic Learning Test

The CLT now offers exams for grades 7-8 and is scheduled to begin offering exams for grades 3-6 in Spring 2024. These exams are taken at home and are proctored by the parent. I highly recommend parents use these are ongoing assessments during the year for planning purposes, to make adjustments to course of study, and to fulfill some states' requirements for standardized testing by home educators.

 

Cottage Press

Cottage Press Language Arts curriculum combines a classical approach and the practices of Charlotte Mason to equip students and teachers to lead lives well-read.

The Teaching Textbooks series is a college-prep curriculum even though it is not as rigorous as some other courses."
